The Lodge which lies near the rear of the farm is accessed by your own 4WD vehicle (conditions permitting). Those who are not experienced with this mode of transport will be delivered to the lodge by a guide.

Sunnyface lodge is located on Journeys End Station a working sheep, cattle and deer farm. It lies at the end of Koranga valley road in Matawai. It takes approximately 1 1/2 hours drive from either Opotiki or Gisborne.
The farm is steep to rolling countryside which backs onto bushline and into the Urewera National Park.
